X 10 Equipment

X10 is a communications protocol for remote control of electrical devices. It is designed for communications between X10 transmitters and X10 receivers which communicate by inducing a coded data signal into the mains standard household wiring. The Visonic Powermax system will control up to 15 of these devices as alarm events and or timed events or by manual remote control via the powermax in-built modem.

X10 Lamp Module

Plug-in module for switching 230V 3amp appliances, halogen and fluorescent lighting on or off. Switches loads from 40w to 300w. Controllable from a distance with X-10 through the existing house wiring (On/Off).

X10 Light Switch

The LW10U wall switch/dimmer is designed to replace wall switches that control room lights. It should be used for incandescant lights ONLY between 60W and 300W (Please note the minimum rating of 60W).

X10 Universal Module

This module uses isolated contacts to control such low voltage devices as sprinkler systems, curtain controls, garage door openers, and garden lighting. It can be set for momentary or sustained contact closure, and has a built in chime.

X10 Appliance Module
